After a devastating fire on Father’s Day, we were contacted to help repair damage done to this beautiful home. The entire house was smoke-damaged. We gutted the majority of the interior to the studs, sealed and rehabilitated the domain to last the owners the rest of their lives.
The owners wanted a green kitchen, which led to a designer’s challenge. Ultimately Shaker cabinets with a dark stain and glaze were selected and paired with a dark green island and accented with light green wall paint. Full custom cabinetry, quartz counters, and solid hardwood floors were areas the owners were unwilling to ‘go cheap’ on—quality above all else.
The former layout of their spacious master bathroom made it feel small and cramped. Spaciousness was gained using a pedestal tub and removing a wall. Their old fiberglass shower was also removed and replaced with a custom tile shower with full glass.
