The client confidently knew he wanted a bold yellow color to remain in the space as a tribute to his mother. However, the overall home was originally very traditional, so we had to ensure that the yellow beam and contemporary kitchen flowed smoothly with the remainder of the house. We accomplished this by replacing the flooring and maintaining the overall color scheme. The yellow color extends into his outdoor living space and kitchen’s white walls are continuous throughout the home.
