Luxurious Features For Your Portland Kitchen Remodel

Luxurious Features For Your Portland Kitchen Remodel

Why do people remodel their kitchen? Is it to add a luxurious feature that they’ve always dreamed about? Maybe to add more functionality and to increase the value of their home?

Luxurious features seem to be a huge trend for kitchens in 2017. It looks beautiful and can really increase the value of the home.

Double Oven and Convection Ovens

Double ovens and ranges have their advantage and are worth considering when your old range dies or you’re remodeling the kitchen. They’re not cheap, however. Most models are typically $1,200 and up but might be worth it!

Choosing a cooking appliance is one of the hardest decisions to make for your kitchen because of all the variables involved. It all depends on how you like to cook. If you entertain during the holidays or have a big family, you might benefit from a double oven.

Convection Ovens work well with smaller families and couples just starting out with purchasing a home. Convection Ovens are also more common with older houses. Both ovens are great it’s just a preference on what works best for you and your family.

Viking Refrigerator:

Viking Range Corporation was founded by Fred Carl, Jr. He was a 4th-generation contractor and was trying to develop commercial-quality range meant for home use. Today, Viking is considered not only a major appliance manufacturer but one that’s extremely well-regarded when it comes to luxurious kitchen features.

Pot Filler Faucet

Generally found in high-end kitchens, a pot filler faucet is a popular choice for today’s modern kitchen.

A swinging cold-water faucet mounted above the cooktop allows a cook to easily fill up pots directly on the cooktop without having to lug heavy pots from the sink, adding convenience and function. Plus the classic look of a jointed-arm faucet adds a touch of elegance and sophistication.

Instant Hot Water Dispenser

An instant hot water dispenser consists of an above-counter faucet attached to a tank (typically concealed in a lower cabinet).

Hot water dispensers are most commonly installed over the kitchen sink (next to the regular faucet) but may be placed anywhere with access to pipes and space for the tank.Water is routed to the tank where it is heated and readied for dispensing.

Most tanks feature customizable temperature control so that you can have your water at your preferred heat.

They’re great for anyone who loves hot tea!

Floor and Tile:

Heated Bamboo Floors

Bamboo flooring makes the perfect option for a hardwood floor that is installed over radiant heating.

One of the things that many people do not understand about radiant heating is that it can dry out a hardwood floor because of the heat that is rising from underneath it.

Bamboo is not affected by this and can withstand the changes in humidity that occur throughout the year.

Tile Backsplash

Ann Sacks happens to be an NW favorite. The quality of the tile and the unique colors make this brand a favorite luxurious backsplash choice for many of our clients. A tiled backsplash is a very personal design for each individual client.
